The Spark

I always try my best to enjoy some good Christian music on a daily basis. It really melts my heart and helps me get into the "loving" mood. I'm so thankful to God for the radio station
K-Love, honestly I don't know what I would do without it. Here is the song that really stood out to me today.
It's called "The Light In Me" by Brandon Heath. I'm really starting to like his music!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

My Favorite part is when he says...

"God, since You gave me life
Something was different, I Knew it the instant
You put the light in me

The spark, the shot to the heart
You are the hope that leads me out of the dark
You let Your love shine down
So that the world could see
You put the light in me "

These lyrics are so true. I've had moments where take in God's love and compassion, and completely surrender to him and BOOM! Instantly I feel that "spark" or "shot to the heart". Not only does my hopelessness and depression fade away, but it also moves me to love others in this way. I feel compassion, and love towards total strangers. I feel like I want to do something BIG to change peoples lives, but I have trouble coming up with ideas to do so
Sometimes I need to stop and think that even the little things can be life changing. When was the last time I said "hello" to a stranger. Or given someone a loving embrace?

After thinking about all the things I should be doing to show people unconditional love, I decided to make a list of some of my ideas.
^___^

[[ R.A.O.L ]]
Random Acts Of Love

1. Smile at a stranger and ask how are you doing?
Really mean it.

2. If you see someone who needs help with something, lend them a hand and don't
expect something in return.

3. Hold the door open for someone the next time you walk into the store.

4. Resist the urge to honk your horn at people in while driving. (I am so guilty of this)
road rage is not a very good way to show God's love to people.

5. Write a letter to someone who has been kind to you, tell them how much it changed your life.

6. Think of someone who gave you something you cherish, write them a loving thank you note.

7. Hug a random stranger.

8. Tell the person you love how much they really mean to you.

9. Forgive a person who wronged you, then pray for them.

It's a short list for now but I think it can be really helpful!

Let's start a love revolution! Lets change the way the world looks at love!!!
Take today's challenge!

Today's Challenge:
Pick 2 things from the [R.A.O.L] list and do them today.
Write down, or think about how each one made you feel.
